Your Mortgage Consultant for Life!

Here we go again on this mortgage blog endeavour. I want those of you who read this to know who I am and what is exactly that I do.
"My name is Patty Schmidt. I am a reliable, trustworthy and energetic mortgage consultant that works amongst the best individuals in the industry at California Home Loans. For almost 3 years now, I have worked diligently to help homeowners safely secure their biggest investment. I am committed to establishing outstanding clients and treating them with such respect that they refer their family and friends."

I know it sounds very professional. And yes, that is what I strive to be. However, my business is ultimately driven by referrals. That is the number one thing I believe in.

Imagine going to a financial consultant... You wouldn't just go to someone that you didn't know or trust and give him all your money to invest in your future livelyhood, would you? So, why would you go to a loan officer that you didn't know to trust them with one of the biggest investments of your life? You wouldn't, or at least you shouldn't. However, if you didn't know of one personally, wouldn't you want your friends and family to refer someone they knew and trusted to you? Absolutely! That is where I come in. I am now the trusted individual to help in the situation.

I belive in a business driven by referrals. I strive to provide the best service possible. My goal is to educate my clients with the knowledge and power to make decisions that will benefit them now and in the future. I don't just give my clients a loan, I serve as a consultant. My job as a consultant is to create outstanding relationships to which clients view me as their "Mortgage Consultant for Life". I hope to gain their business again and again and hope that they refer their friends and family to me as well.

Marketing a business is a full time job in itself. Therefore, if I continue to provide excellent service to my clients, they in turn refer more clients to me. That way, I have more time spent devoted to finding the best loans possible and not time spent wasted on marketing to new clients that just throw away my junk mail!!

Well, there you have it. I love what I do. I love helping people like you to finance there homes. It is hard for me to put into words what I do. But I hope that this makes sense.

There are thousands upon thousands of loans that are about to recast. People such as yourself that have adjustable rate mortgages that are about to adjust to higher rates with higher payments. If you or anyone that you know is in this situation, I would love to help. Or if you would just like to get pre-qualified to purchase a home or sell a home and purchase another. Please let me be your "Mortgage Consultant for Life."

A day in the life of a Loan Officer

Ok, so this whole blogging thing is totally unfamiliar to me. I am not the best with words, (great with numbers-that's why I am a loan officer!), but I have been given a task, so bear with me. You see, I am part of this incredible group of talented real estate professionals that meet every other Monday. We are a combination of both Loan Officers and Real Estate Agents. However, we are not just Loan Officers and Real Estate Agents, we are consultants that are inspired to help others with their dreams of owning a home. We get together to share ideas, discuss the ever changing real estate industry (oh, and is it ever changing!!), and to help one another discover the best ways to achieve our clients goals.

Our task this week is to create a blog in efforts to share information about the mortgage industry with others such as yourself (assuming that someone is actually taking the time to read this). So, here it is! What do you think?

My plan is to update my blog weekly with mortgage and real estate topics such as: Finding a Mortgage Consultant, The lastest Industry News, Interest Rates, Reverse Mortgages and Loan Programs, etc. Sound borning?? Nah! Hopefully you will be inspired to log in weekly to catch my latest blog.

Check me out next week as I plan to tell you exactly what it is that I do!

And remember, referrals are the livelyhood of my business. If you or anyone you know is looking to purchase or refinance their home, please let me know.
