Pumpkin Carnivale

OK, you win. After several requests, I am finally updating my blog so that you don't have to look at Brady's dreadful case of the morning posties.

I would like to share a few pictures with you of our trip to the Pumpkin Patch.

Last night we visited the Pumpkin Patch at First and Nees. Our experience was filled with pumpkins, roller coaster rides, train rides, fair food (we opted to eat at CPK instead) and toothless carnies.

Carson becomes more fun every day as he gets older to enjoy such activities. I think he might have rode the train 3 times and still wasn't satisfied. Our pumpkins and Carson's excitement made our trip a success.

Morning Meltdowns

Is October to early to start threatening Carson with Santa Clause??

This morning, within the first 20 minutes of Carson getting out of bed, we encountered 4 meltdowns! Yes, the crying, screaming, flailing arms, kicking, door slamming kind. Over what you ask?? Well, let's see... Daddy wouldn't carry him downstairs, Daddy would only give him ONE, not TWO, cookies for breakfast, he spilled chocolate milk on his orange blankie and I wouldn't let him flush the toilet. Wow!! Rough morning.

So, I went there. Yes, in the middle of October, I went there!! "Santa Clause is coming and he only brings presents to GOOD little boys. If you are not GOOD, he is not going to bring you any presents." And it totally worked!! Instant crying stops now at the mention of Santa Clause. "I'm good boy Mommy. Is Santa going to bring me trains??"

In the meantime, Carson is waiting by the fireplace looking for Santa Clause... in October!!

And here is the finished scrapbook page from the previous blog entry. I personally think it turned out pretty darn cute!

And just as a side note, Steve spent the last couple of days in Las Vegas for business. He is thankfully now home, but I think Carson might have missed him a little while he was gone. Carson went through his stuff, put it on, and said he wanted to be like Daddy.
